Ladle Refining Furnace (LRF) are used to desulfurize steel, remove other impurities and hold the molten steel for casting operations. The LRF also acts as a buffer between the steel making furnace and the continuous caster, reducing casting costs and allowing greater flexibility in steelmaking operations.

Our company offering different size of the Ladle Refining Furnaces (LRF) which is used to raise the temperature and adjust the chemical composition of molten metal. Without LRFs, higher tap temperatures are normally required from steel making furnaces due to heat losses during refining with conventional ladles.
